Spring into Action at Brighton Center
Brighton Center is a nonprofit in Northern Kentucky that creates opportunities for individuals and families to reach self-sufficiency through a wide range of services. Join us as we help them spruce up a few of their locations in Newport to help them move forward into the spring/summer months. We will be volunteering in the community garden (e.g., pulling weeds, turning over soil in 4X8 beds, helping community members "open" their garden). We will also be helping with some spring cleaning in their Family Center and Administrative buildings (e.g., wiping down ledges, cleaning windows, sprucing up spaces where customers visit as they wait for services). Please wear clothes you are willing to get dirty. Join us after volunteering for an after party to celebrate your hard work. First drink is on us! 8:45 am - 9:00 am: Check-in 9:00 am - 12:00 pm: Volunteering 12:00pm - 1:pm: After Party

What does that mean? It means members can participate in as many or as few volunteer opportunities as they’d like, and at the end of the day, they celebrate new friendships. Mt. Adams Afternoon Adventure
Take the afternoon to explore Mount Adams and Eden Park. We’ll start they day at the Cincinnati Art Museum, with clues in hand you’ll hunt down a few a masterpieces and hidden jems. We’ll make our way into Eden park, catch a stunning view of the Ohio River, amble around mirror lake and Khrons Conservatory, and wander up to charming Mount Adams. You could use this afternoon as an opportunity to explore our beautiful city and check out new sights OR, you could unveil your competitive side through speed challenges, scavenger hunts and eye spy photo tasks. Winning team will receive a mystery prize. Afterwards, we will make our way to a nearby bar for drinks, first round on us!
